Recently you may have seen the buzzworthy report about shoes that fans wanted,that seemed to fit the unique style and trend of Tokio Hotel. In case you haven’t, go to the Buzzworthy report for more information. The shoes cost$76 a pair, but a certain portion of proceeds go to a music fund. Certainly that’s something fans can step up to. we had a few questions to ask someone from the company, Matt, what inspired them and to give us some thoughts on Tokio Hotel from their perspective. They were kind enough to answer us with the following:

UTH.com: You said that you guys were really getting into Tokio Hotel’s music, what made you start listening to them to begin with? Was it the hype around the band name or someone that works there?

Matt: As we spend most of our time in China, new acts often come to our attention
through friends. In the case of Tokio Hotel, it was my cousin who turned me on to the group.
At this point, the band’s reach seems to be growing each day. We hope they continue to evolve
as of today, though, it seems they’re off to a great start.

UTH: Part of your company’s sales goes towards a scholarship program in Wen, have you had success with this more so now that the shoes are selling so well in favor of a band like Tokio Hotel?

Matt The work done on our Education Initiative is incredibly important to us. And, it’s great to get the support of Tokio Hotel’s fan base; It’s very reaffirming to see a younger age group respond to the giving back-aspect of our brand.

UTH: And is there anything that you want to share with the fans of the site about your product? I am going to write a blog concerning you but I wanted to see if you wanted any kind of imput into the data put into the blog. I think the shoes are gorgeous and I have seen them. However
I’m a stay at home mother and can’t afford them (but I do hope someday to own a pair, maybe once the economy here settles down). We commend you for the fact that part of the sales goes towards something important such as a subject to further education.
