The band was formally called 'Devilish' but when they got signed by Universal Music Group they changed the band name to 'Tokio Hotel', the band has released 5 albums (2 in german, 2 in English and 1 live-album). Durch den Monsun, their single, quickly climbed the charts and skyrocketed to #1 on 2005. The once unknown band became a overnight sensation and is now called the biggest act to come out of Germany in twenty years.

That’s impossible: First Katy Perry (25) offended our boys, now she steals front singer Bill Kaulitz’s (20) look!
At the beginning of August Katy Perry offended the Magdeburgers live on stage at a festival in Singapore. She turned the lyrics of her song “You’re so gay” from “I can’t believe I fell in love with someone who wears more make-up…” into “I can’t believe I fell in love with Tokio Hotel. You’re so gay and you don’t even like boys.”
Now Pop-bitch came up with something new: In the latest music video to her song “Teenage Dream” Perry looks exactly like a copy of Bill Kaulitz!
Long, black, straight hair, decent make-up and big dark sunglasses: The two adversaries could indeed be twins.

it’s such an insult to both Bill and Katy to even suggest that they look alike!
I don’t even like Katy Perry that much…but seriously?! She has on sunglasses and black hair…I have black hair and sunglasses and light makeup. Seriously? So i look like Bill now? Now this is just too silly!
